What is AiPlayout?
AiPlayout is cloud playout and broadcast automation software. It lets you run a 24/7 TV or online channel from a web browser: schedule programmes, insert ad breaks, add live logos and tickers, restream live sources and send your channel to YouTube, Facebook, any RTMP server or SRT.
What is playout software?
Playout software plays a channel's programmes, commercials and graphics in the right order at the right time and outputs them as one continuous live stream. Traditionally this needs dedicated master-control hardware; AiPlayout does it in the cloud and you manage it from your browser.
Can I restream a YouTube live stream or video?
Yes. Paste a YouTube live or video link and AiPlayout restreams it to your destinations with your logo, tickers and ad breaks added. You can also restream a feed from your own streaming server or encoder, such as OBS, vMix or a hardware encoder, over RTMP.
Which platforms can I stream my channel to?
You can stream to YouTube Live, Facebook Live and any platform, CDN or media server that accepts RTMP, and you can also output over SRT. Resolution, bitrate and codec are configurable.
Can I insert ads and add my channel logo?
Yes. Upload commercials, group them into break lists and schedule them to air automatically. You can also add logos, text and scrolling tickers with your own fonts and colours, and edit them live while you are on air.
Do I need any playout hardware?
No. AiPlayout runs on the server, so there is no playout hardware to buy or maintain. You upload content, build schedules and monitor your channel from any modern web browser.
